The Moonlight Amphitheatre and the AVO Playhouse stage musicals, concerts, and other live performances throughout the year.  If you love the outdoors and fitness activities, Vista has plenty to offer you as well. The city boasts around twenty parks and recreation centers, as well as miles of hiking and biking trails. The Alta Vista Botanical Gardens is home to beautiful gardens in various themes, perfect for a day out with the family. Vista’s Recreation & Community Services Department organizes programs to promote a healthy lifestyle and provide fun leisure activities to residents of all ages.  The community is served by the Vista Unified School District, which includes over thirty elementary, middle, and high schools.  You don’t have to go far for employment options. The business park in Vista is home to around 800 businesses, providing job opportunities right in your own backyard.
